He is a friend of William Balfour, the man charged with killing three members of Jennifer Hudson's family. But it was the prosecution that called Quincy Brown to the stand in Balfour's triple-murder case in Chicago. During his testimony yesterday, Brown said he saw Balfour with the gun authorities say was used in the murders. Brown also says he had contact with Balfour the day of the murders. He says Balfour called him in a ``panic'' on October 24, 2008 and asked him to move his car to the west side of Chicago. Investigators found the car less than a mile from the house where the bodies of Hudson's mother and brother were found. Brown is in prison on a federal gun conviction. He told the jury Balfour said that his ex-wife was accusing him of the murders of Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. Brown said he asked Balfour if he was responsible and that Balfour answered: ```It's bigger than me.'''
Bobby Brown has pleaded not guilty in his drunken driving case in Los Angeles. City News Service reports an attorney for the singer entered pleas on the singer's behalf yesterday. Brown faces three misdemeanor counts: one of DUI, one of driving with an illegal blood-alcohol content and one on driving on a suspended license. If convicted, he could face up to six months behind bars. Brown was arrested on March 26 _ a little over a month after his ex-wife Whitney Houston drowned in a hotel bathroom after ingesting cocaine.
